Lately I have been in a bit of a slump. I have found myself putting things off at home and work, because there is no real deadline. I have plenty of time to get those things done, right? Well, I know I work best from a list where I can check off items. But that is getting harder and harder to do. The list seems longer, and I do not have much to show in terms of progress.

This Coronavirus has taken a toll on all of us-some more than others. If you work with nonprofits like I do, times are especially frightening. Giving may be down. Your donors may be unemployed. Your own organization may have downsized. It is hard to meet new donor prospects anywhere. And how many Zoom calls can one do?

None of us knows how long this pandemic will last, but we will get through it. As I seek inspiration around me, I thought you might want to do something together. Will you join me in taking the Our Fundraising Search – 21 DAY FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE?

You probably know that it takes 21 days to break a bad habit or to start a new one. Log onto Our Fundraising Search’s Facebook Page on August 1 and we will suggest a fundraising activity for you-every day for 21 days.  Let us inspire each other, improve our fundraising expertise and become re-energized with new habits for the work we do in the days ahead.

See you then!
