SUMMARY:Walk With A Consultant - April
DESCRIPTION:Join members of the OFS team for a walk through Piedmont Park on Wednesday\, April 29 at 4:30 PM for a time of mobile networking and an opportunity to pick a consultant’s brain (for free!). We will depart from Park Tavern\, and end back up at Park Tavern around 5:30. Let Dave know you’re coming: dave@ourfundraisingsearch.com \nWhat is Walk With a Consultant? \nWhen our Founder\, Linda\, started the company\, lots of people wanted to talk to her. Potential clients wanted to discuss their needs. Obviously\, job candidates wanted to be interviewed. And a third group just wanted to pick her brain. It might be someone who is considering a career change\, or someone who is struggling with a donor\, or an Executive Director wrestling with a board issue. Really\, could be anyone wanting to talk about anything. Because these conversations were important\, Linda wanted to give them the time they deserved. But she also couldn’t take time from paying clients to have them. So\, she would invite anyone who wanted to pick her brain to go on a walk with her. The Walks became something of a mobile networking group\, brainstorming engagement\, and therapy session for the individuals who came on them. And Walk With a Consultant was born. Together\, we’ll (leisurely) stroll Piedmont Park\, discuss whatever topics are on everyone’s minds and enjoy the company of fellow development professionals.
